Welcome to Saul's Blog
Yeah, the name says it all.
If you’ve ever watched Better Call Saul or Breaking Bad, you already know who Saul Goodman is. If you haven’t — well, that’s exactly the kind of thing we’ll talk about here. The name is a tribute to one of the greatest characters ever written for television. I’m a huge fan. No apologies.
So, why a blog?
I’ve always wanted to write. Not for fame, not for followers — just to leave something behind. A few thoughts, a few memories, proof that I was here and paying attention. In an age where everything moves fast and attention spans are shrinking, I figured writing might be a good way to slow down. To actually think. To sit with something long enough to put it into words.
That’s the hope, anyway.
Here’s what you’ll find on this blog:
A bit of everything, honestly. I’ll be sharing thoughts on AI tools — Claude, ChatGPT, and whatever else catches my attention. Some simple tutorials on the side, nothing too hardcore. I’m not a seasoned developer. I have no impressive GitHub portfolio. I’m figuring things out as I go, and I’ll write about that process openly.
If you’re already an expert, some of this might feel basic to you. That’s fair. But maybe you’ll find something useful buried in here, or at least enjoy the perspective of someone who’s still learning.
And then there are the shows.
Better Call Saul. Breaking Bad. Untouchable. Absolute number ones in my book. If you disagree, we can talk about it — but you won’t change my mind. I’ll write about great TV when the mood strikes, because sometimes a well-crafted story deserves more than a five-star rating on Douban.
No grand mission here. No niche to dominate. Just writing what I feel like writing, sharing what I think is worth sharing, and hoping it lands with at least one person out there.
Oh, and one more thing — this blog is built with Hexo and powered in part by Claude Code. Yeah, I let the AI help me set it up. No shame in that. We’re living in 2025 — using good tools isn’t cheating, it’s just smart. Saul Goodman would approve.
Make yourself at home.
— Saul
